First-hand second-interview outcome: an IR1 first interviewed 27 January was re-interviewed in mid-October and handed a refusal letter citing 212(a)(4) with a request for a US lease or proof of housing and a job offer letter. The couple has lived abroad together for five years, the petitioner works remotely for a US company at under 25k a year, a joint sponsor earns many times the guideline but was not discussed, and an invitation letter from a sibling was called insufficient; commenters read it as domicile. Relayed earlier: re-interviews began Tuesday 6 October, a handful each week, one moved from 13 to 27 October. 27 October first interviews were cancelled on 1 October; a late-August K-1 has no date. Applicants add on 14 October that the post is re-interviewing everyone in order, a handful each Tuesday, and that an employment-based applicant who wrote in September has had no reply; EB re-interviews may not have started.
